These terms cover your use of the PintRunner app and website, which are provided by SausageLabs in the UK ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Who can use PintRunner

You must be 18 or over. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what happens under your account.

Drinking is your choice

PintRunner is a way to plan a route and keep score. It doesn't require anyone to drink alcohol, and every drink in a route can be swapped for something alcohol-free. You decide what and how much you drink, and you can skip a stop at any time.

• Never drink and drive, and follow the law and each venue's rules.
• Look after your friends, and don't pressure anyone to drink or to keep up.
• Stop if you or someone with you isn't well. In an emergency, call 999.

We aren't responsible for what you or others choose to drink, or for what happens at a venue or on the way between venues.

How to behave

Be considerate. Don't use PintRunner to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone. Don't post anything unlawful, offensive or that you don't have the right to share, including in usernames, route names, challenges and profile photos. Don't try to break, overload or reverse engineer the app, or use someone else's account.

You can report a person or team from the Journey screen, which starts a removal poll among the other players. We can also remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, such as routes and photos. You give us permission to store it and show it to other people in the app so the service works. You confirm you have the right to share it.

Using the app

We provide PintRunner as it is. It's a small project, so it may be unavailable at times, and we may change or stop features. Location and arrival detection depend on your phone's GPS and signal and won't always be accurate. Please don't rely on the app for anything where accuracy or availability matters.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the app is limited to £100.

Ending your account

You can stop using PintRunner and delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can settle disputes, unless the law of where you live gives you other rights.
